London Olympic Park Legacy Co. Chair MARGARET FORD announced that she will “step down after the Games in September.” Ford is responsible for ensuring that the US$11.1B publicly funded Olympic Park is “properly used after London 2012.” Ford has been a “key figure in negotiations with West Ham United and 15 other potential bidders over the future” of the Olympic Stadium (THETIMES.co.uk, 2/8).
