SBJ motorsports reporter Tripp Mickle sat down with Penske Racing VP/Marketing & Communications Jonathan Gibson, and the two began by looking ahead to Sunday's Izod IndyCar World Championship in Las Vegas. Gibson said he is in favor of returning to Vegas next year for the event: "Sponsors like to go to Vegas, and obviously a lot of our partners have really gotten behind it. … It's year one, but we think it's something we can build on." Gibson also discussed the future of the IndyCar brand, Danica Patrick's move to NASCAR full-time, Will Power's marketability and the new chassis in '12.
