Popular Facebook Game CityVille To Feature Logos From Nearly 50 Schools

Social gaming outfit Zynga has signed a licensing deal with the Collegiate Licensing Company that will allow for the use of college logos and university landmarks for its popular Facebook game, CityVille. Marks from nearly 50 schools, including Alabama, Florida, LSU, Notre Dame and Michigan, will be involved. CityVille is a popular city-building simulation game, not unlike SimCity or Farmville. "This is the first time we've given sports fans a chance to express themselves with their favorite schools in a game, and are thrilled to give our players a way to get closer to both their favorite school and their favorite game," said CityVille Exec Producer Phil Frazier.
