Get Comfortable: IMG College Acquires CFB Seat Cushion Leasing Company

IMG College has acquired Cushion Seats Inc., a Kansas-based company that leases seat cushions to college football fans on game day. With the acquisition, IMG College picks up Cushion Seats’ contracts with about more than 40 major universities, including Ohio State, Tennessee, Iowa and Wisconsin. The Cushions Seats business will be rolled into IMG College’s Seating division, which already includes the likes of Notre Dame, Michigan, Oregon and Alabama. In all, IMG College will offer seat cushion rentals to fans at more than 130 schools, ranging from major football powers down through the ranks of the FBS. Cushion Seats Founder Dave Dreiling will not be joining IMG College and will continue to focus on his other businesses within It’s Greek to Me, Inc., an apparel, novelty and souvenir business in Manhattan, Kan.
