Overnight Ratings: Yankees-Red Sox Gives Fox Good Numbers For MLB Coverage

Fox led all sports telecasts over the weekend with a 3.3 overnight for regional MLB coverage on Saturday, which featured Yankees-Red Sox in 81% of markets. The same matchup last year (86% of markets) on the same weekend earned a 1.9 overnight rating. The 3.3 overnight is the net's second-best MLB overnight of the season, behind only the telecast on May 21 in primetime, which averaged a 3.4 overnight for Mets-Yankees and Cubs-Red Sox.
