Fans Of PGA, LPGA Tours Continue To Skew Older, Have High Incomes

Fans of the PGA and LPGA tours tend to be among the boomer age demographic (45-64) and have a high level of household income, according to data from Scarborough Sports Marketing. Among household income demographics for both tours, those making $50-75K accounted for the largest segment of fans. Nearly 84% of fans of both tours are White/Caucasian, with African-Americans accounting for around 11%. Listed below are fan demographics for both the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour. Fans are described as those with at least somewhat of an interest in the respective tours (THE DAILY).
