MLB teams are averaging 29,729 fans per game at the midpoint of the '11 season, flat compared to the same period last year. AL teams are seeing a 1.3% jump at the gate, fueled by big gains from the Rangers and Indians. Attendance at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington is up an MLB-best 35.6% on the heels of the club's World Series appearance, while the Indians' surprising start has led to a 30% jump at the gate at Progressive Field. The Yankees lead all AL teams with 44,360 fans per game, down 3%. The Mariners and Rays are seeing the sharpest declines -- down 16.8% and 13.3%, respectively. Listed below is attendance for the AL through July 10, with comparisons to the same period last year.
