MLB Calling Tomorrow "Social Media Day" To Tie Into End Of ASG Balloting

MLB.com has designated tomorrow as its '11 "Social Media Day" to tie into the end of online voting for the upcoming All-Star Game. Fans liking any of the official Facebook pages of the 30 clubs will be entered into a sweepstakes to win a personalized All-Star Game jersey or a trip to the July 12 game in Phoenix. MLB.com is additionally preparing a hashtag battle among the 18 clubs playing tomorrow, and a fan photo caption contest. Fans checking into any of the nine scheduled games tomorrow through the MLB.com At Bat mobile application will be able to win a team-specific "Checked In" T-shirt.
