Blue Jackets Dir of Amateur Scouting PAUL CASTRON and Assistant Dir of Amateur Scouting JOHN WILLIAMS will lead the team at the draft (COLUMBUS DISPATCH, 6/8).

EXECS: The USTA named TRINA SINGIAN Communications Coordinator and AYANA MILLER Publicity Associate (THE DAILY)....Oaklawn Park hired JAMIE RICHARDSON as Track Superintendent, replacing STEVE BRECKLING, who resigned from the horse track at the end of the '11 winter-spring meeting (THOROUGHBREDTIMES.com, 6/7)....The NBA D-League Ft.
