MLB Attendance Down 1% Through May 10; Padres Up 20% At Petco Park

MLB is averaging 27,812 fans per game through May 10, down 1% compared to the same period last year. The Phillies lead all teams with an average of 45,455 fans, while packing Citizens Bank Park to 104.1% capacity. The Padres are seeing the biggest gains at the gate among NL clubs, despite being in last place in the NL West. The Giants are seeing a 15.5% increase in attendance at AT&T Park on the heels of the club's World Series victory last season. The Dodgers are seeing the sharpest drop among NL clubs, with attendance down 16.2% to date. Listed below is team-by-team attendance for all NL clubs through May 10, with comparisons to the same period last year. See tomorrow's issue of THE DAILY for AL figures (THE DAILY).
