Yahoo Sports' Unique Visitors In April Up 7% Compared To March

Yahoo Sports led all sports sites in the month of April, drawing 30.5 million unique visitors, according to data from Nielsen Online. That number was up almost 7% from March. Second-place ESPN.com saw 21.1 million visitors, down 9% from a month ago. Among the league-owned sites in the top 10, all three saw double-digit percentage growth in April. Both CBSSports.com and FanHouse/AOL Sports saw double-digit declines during the same period.

WATCHING VIDEO: Among all online sites for the month of April, ESPN.com and MLB.com ranked ninth and tenth, respectively, for unique video viewers. ESPN.com saw 7.8 million unique visitor viewers, while MLB.com saw 7.79 million viewers. By comparison, the top site for unique video viewers was YouTube with 97.1 million viewers. Listed below are the top 10 sports sites for the month of April, ranked by unique visitors, with comparisons to March '10 (Nielsen Online).
