NBA CITY SAYS JAMES STANLEY HAS THE TOOLS TO TAKE IT HIGHER

Veteran theme-restaurant exec JAMES STANLEY has been hired as the first President & CEO of NBA CITY, the Orlando- based restaurant chain "with ambitions to expand to Asia and other parts of the world," according to Jerry Jackson of the ORLANDO SENTINEL. Stanley, a former Hard Rock and Planet Hollywood exec, said, "My challenge is to take this act on the road. After we open a couple more here [in the U.S.], we think Asia would be a good market, and then who knows where?" But Stanley added, "You've got to grow at the right pace. You've got to take your time and do it right. You can't be in too big of a rush." NBA City Owner & Chair RALPH BURNET said Stanley's experience in int'l restaurant operations was key (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 12/14).
