FASHIONABLE MOVE: MAGNUM TO PURCHASE FORD AGENCY FOR $50M

          N.Y.-based sports talent agency Magnum Sports &     Entertainment (MSE) has signed a letter of intent to acquire     Ford Models in a deal valued at $50M, according to Allyson     Lieberman of the N.Y. POST.  MSE co-Founders Charles     Koppelman and Bob Gutkowski said that the Ford acquisition     "is just the beginning of a string of partnerships intended"     to make their company a "leader in the converging world of     talent management."   MSE represents Packers WR Antonio     Freeman and NASCAR driver Chad Chaffin (N.Y. POST, 12/13).      BLOOMBERG NEWS' Susan Decker reports that the management at     Ford Models "will be kept," including CEO Katie Ford, who     will join the MSE BOD.  Gutkowski said that MSE "is creating     a marketing and talent agency for music, fashion, sports and     entertainment figures."  Gutkowski, on Ford Models: "It's a     great brand, a great fit for the brand and it gives us a     global presence right off the bat" (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 12/13).
