     exec Tom Cotter have formed Tom & Jerry Racing, which will
     own a U.S. Auto Club sprint car team (THE DAILY). 
          DEALS: National Women's Football League Founder
     Catherine Masters has secured the U.S. Army and BP as
     corporate sponsors of the new league.  She is also in talks
     with Proctor & Gamble (HARTFORD COURANT, 11/28)....The Big
     12 Conference has signed JustBalls.com as its newest
     corporate partner and its official ball distributor. The
     three-year deal was secured by Host Communications. 
     JustBalls.com is currently the official ball supplier to the
     Atlantic 10, Metro Atlantic Athletic, Southern and
     Southeastern Conferences (Host Communications). 
          SEX ONLINE: USA TODAY's Michael McCarthy reports on the
     trend of dot-coms using sex in its marketing -- the "bytes
     and babes" advertising.  ESPN.com has a banner promoting its
     "Fantasy Football" which shows a cartoon of "what appear to
     be breasts with the line: 'Like to fantasize?'  As the
     banner changes, the viewer sees the two mounds are football
     helmets."  ESPN Internet Ventures Dir of Communications Eric
     Handler: "Our target demo is males 18 to 34 years old. 
     Anything we do is geared toward guys" (USA TODAY, 11/28).
