EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          In Salt Lake City, Mike Gorrell reported that IOC Dir
     of Communications FRANKLIN SERVAN-SCHREIBER is leaving the
     IOC to "work on new Internet projects, probably in Paris." 
     Gorrell noted that Servan-Schreiber was one of the IOC's
     main spokespeople during the recent bribery scandal, the
     "frontman for the embattled organization in its dealings
     with the world's media."  USOC Dir of PR MIKE MORAN:
     "[Servan-Schreiber is] the first person they've had in that
     job who's tried to be as accommodating as possible.  And he
     had a genuine appreciation of the media" (SALT LAKE TRIBUNE,
     11/23)....In Newport, RI, Int'l Tennis HOF Exec VP & COO
     MARK STENNING was promoted to CEO.  Stenning replaces JANE
     BROWN, who has taken a job with the USTA (AP, 11/22)....The
     Canadiens named recently-fired GM REJEAN HOULE as a Special
     Ambassador to represent the club at various functions. 
     Houle will also join the BOD of the recently established
     Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation (GAZETTE,
     11/25)....Host Communications named DAVID BIERWIRTH as GM
     for its MAAC property and CHRIS SANDERS as GM for its
     Midwestern Colleagiate Conference property (Host).
