          JACK NICKLAUS and JULI INKSTER will be co-Chairs of THE
     FIRST TEE's capital campaign, which has set a goal of
     raising $50M within the next three-to-five years to support
     Phase II of The First Tee's goals. The program is intended
     to make golf more accessible and affordable for kids, (FL
     TIMES-UNION, 11/17).  There are around 100 First Tee
     facilities in the U.S. either completed or under some phase
     of design or construction.  While less than half are
     operating, two dozen are scheduled to be in operation by the
     end of 2001 (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 11/17)....The WALL STREET
     JOURNAL profiles Univ. of IL Professor CAROL SPINDEL's book
     "DANCING AT HALFTIME; SPORTS AND THE CONTROVERSY OVER
     AMERICAN INDIAN MASCOTS."  The book "delves into" the use of
     Indian motifs in American life and sports in particular
     called (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 11/17)....Redskins Owner DANIEL
     SNYDER sat courtside at last night's Spurs-Wizards game at
     MCI Center between CB DEION SANDERS and RB STEPHEN DAVIS
     (WASHINGTON POST, 11/17).
