EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          NASCAR announced that STEVE BOGUSKI, who has served as
     Managing Dir of Marketing, working out of the Charlotte
     office, and BRETT YORMARK, Managing Dir of Corporate
     Marketing in the N.Y. office, have been promoted to VP
     positions.  Both will continue to report to GEORGE PYNE, who
     becomes NASCAR Senior VP (NASCAR)....The Ericsson Open named
     LAUREN SHEPROW as Dir of Marketing.  Sheprow served as a
     media and PR consultant for the tournament since '94. 
     Meanwhile, CYNTHIA WINE joined the staff as Media & PR
     Manager, while JENNIFER LEONARD was named Advertising
     Coordinator (Ericsson Open)....The XFL Maniax named TIM
     CLODJEAUX as Dir of Media Relations.  Clodjeaux had been on
     assignment with NBC Sports in N.Y. (Maniax)....The IBL
     Silver Bandits named BRIAN SITTER as Community Relations Dir
     (Mult., 11/11)....Former tennis pro JOHAN KJELLSTEN has
     joined the ATP as Dir of PR, focussing on northern Europe,
     including France (INTERNATIONAL TENNIS WEEKLY, 11/6).
