DEALS & DOLLARS: WUSA INKS SUPPLIER; PUMA STAYS W/LAZIO ROME

          Puma Italy has extended its sponsorship deal with Serie
     A's Lazio Rome through 2005 in a deal worth about $25M. 
     Additionally, Puma's Canadian licensee, ATA, has signed a
     multi-million dollar deal with the CFL, making the Puma
     brand the exclusive on-field jersey supplier of the league's
     eight teams (Puma)....M&M/Mars has signed an exclusive
     three-year deal to become the Official Candy of Little
     League Baseball.  The company's Snickers brand will be the
     focus of the sponsorship (Little League)....Kwik Goal has
     signed a four-year deal as an official supplier of the WUSA
     and will be designated as the Official Goal and Field
     Equipment Supplier of the league and its eight teams (WUSA).
     ....Next August's PGA Championship near Atlanta has sold out
     its 38 corporate hospitality chalets (PGA)....Calgary-based
     sporting goods retailer Forzani Group is "kick-starting a
     new chain of stores targeting low- to mid-priced" sporting
     goods and apparel, a C$3B business in Canada. Six "Save on
     Sports" locations will open this month (CAL. SUN, 11/10).
