BOOSTERS UNVEIL PLAN TO PRESERVE MILE HIGH NAME ON STADIUM

About 50,000 Broncos fans will be "handed posters
boosting" the Mile High Stadium name before their "MNF" game
against the Raiders, according to Barry Bortnick of the CO
Springs GAZETTE. The Friends of Mile High, a group of area
citizens formed to preserve the Mile High name, plan to hand
out the posters, and the group hopes the national exposure
"will show how extensive the support is to retain the name"
(CO Springs GAZETTE, 11/10). The posters will read "Mile
High Stadium" on one side and "The Best Name By A Mile" on
the other side. The Broncos said that they "won't
confiscate signs" at the game (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 11/10).
