NFL TO PAY TRIBUTE TO SCHOENFELD: There will be a
moment of silence in NFL press boxes across the country
Sunday and Monday in honor of late SportsLine.com Senior
Writer STEVE SCHOENFELD, who was killed Tuesday evening in a
hit-and-run automobile accident in AZ. SportsLine.com
Senior Writer LEN PASQUARELLI, on Schoenfeld: "Never an ax-
grinder, he rarely permitted opinion to infringe on
delivering the facts. ... It is, I promise you, an

investment company, John W. Henry & Co., has announced a
plan to consolidate his firm's operations by closing its
office in Westport, CT. Poor performance and investors'
withdrawal of funds have caused the assets of his company to
drop from $2.4B a year ago to about $1B today. Henry, on
the deadline of divesting his minority stake in the Yankees:
"I think I've passed that. Something will probably get done
