EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          RON SCHUELER has stepped down as White Sox GM, but will
     remain with the team as Senior VP & Special Consultant. 
     Schueler, who has served as GM since '90, was the longest-
     tenured GM in the AL.  He will be replaced by VP/Player
     Development KEN WILLIAMS (White Sox).  Williams becomes the
     team's first African-American GM and "only the second in MLB
     history" after former Yankees GM BOB WATSON (CHICAGO
     TRIBUNE, 10/25)....MARINA COSTABILE has formed the S.F.-
     based MARCOSTA SPORTS GROUP.  Costabile's agency is
     dedicated to the representation of pro golfers worldwide,
     and Costabile will focus primarily on the negotiation of
     endorsement and sponsorship deals for the golfers. 
     Costabile was with Steinberg, Moorad & Dunn (THE DAILY).
     ...TaylorMade-adidas Golf promoted Launch Marketing Manager
     BOB MAGGIORE to the newly created position of U.S. Marketing
     Manager, while Manager of Tour Operations GIDGE MOODY will
     assume Maggiore's role for all of TaylorMade's future
     product launches.  Both will report to Dir of Global Brand
     Communications MERLE MARTING (TaylorMade-adidas)....Trakus
     named ROB WALLACE as TV Program Manager.  Wallace spent the
     past three years as an Associate Producer for ESPN
     (Trakus)....N.Y.-based National Media Group (NMG) named
     MICHAEL MARCHAND as Dir of PR and CHRISTINA CAMPANILE and
     ANDREW LEE as Account Execs.  Marchand was most recently was
     Account Supervisor for the NY-based PR firm Trylon
     Communications.  Lee joins NMG after one-year at Dobbin-
     Bogla PR and one-year in the PR department for the Atlantic
     League Surf.  Campanile spent the last two years with Dan
     Klores Associates (THE DAILY).....JEFF BUCH has resigned
     from his post as VP/Strategic Alliances & Marketing for
     eFanShop (THE DAILY).
