SUNSHINE NETWORK AND FHSAA AGREE ON EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS DEAL

          The FL High School Activities Association (FHSAA) and
     the Sunshine Network signed a five-year deal that grants the 
     Sunshine Network exclusive rights to telecast all FHSAA FL
     Finals state championship games in football, basketball,
     baseball, soccer, softball and volleyball.  The agreement
     also includes the rights to state meets in cross country,
     golf, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field,
     weightlifting and wrestling (Sunshine Network).  In Ft.
     Lauderdale, Sharon Robb reported that the agreement between
     FHSAA and the Sunshine Network marks the "first time every
     high school" sport will be televised statewide with either
     event telecasts or highlight programs.  Robb noted that the
     Sunshine Network reaches more than 5.2 million homes
     statewide (Ft. Lauderdale SUN-SENTINEL, 10/17).
