THE DAILY lists the final ratings for the X Games on
its three broadcast partners -- ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 -- from
August 17-26. ABC aired three total hours of X Games, 1 1/2
hours each during the day on Saturday, August 19 and
Saturday, August 26. ESPN aired a total of seven hours of X
Games coverage over four telecasts and its entire two-hour
broadcast on Friday, August 25, was in prime time. ESPN2
aired a total of nine hours of X Games coverage over five
telecasts. All of the coverage on ESPN2 was in the evening,
each broadcast with one hour of prime time (THE DAILY).

SEXY AT 17: For all three broadcast outlets, the X
Games drew an average audience of 314,619 households (HHs),
up 17% from 267,870 HHs in '99. In the 12-24 demo on all
three nets, the Games had an average audience of 112,319
HHs, up 28% from 87,734 HHs one year ago. In the 25-34
demo, the X Games had an average audience of 88,006 HHs, up
37% from 64,359 HHs last year. In the 35-54 demo, the X
Games had an average audience of 99,472 HHs, down 7% from
99,480 HHs one year ago (THE DAILY).
