EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The MLS Revolution named TODD SMITH as GM, replacing
     BRIAN O'DONOVAN.  Smith had been GM of the A League Hershey
     Wildcats since '96 (BOSTON GLOBE, 9/27)....STEVE HARRELSON
     was named VP/Finance for Raycom Sports.  Harrelson spent
     three years as Business Manager at WTVM-TV in Columbus, GA
     (Raycom Sports)....The Royals announced that GEORGE BRETT
     will continue his role with the team as VP/Baseball
     Operations after agreeing to a three-year contract extension
     (Royals)....The UHL promoted RON CARON to VP/Business
     Operations.  Caron joined the UHL as Dir of Business
     Operations in August '98, prior to which he served as Dir of
     Team Services for the AHL Pirates (UHL)....Maximum Golf
     magazine appointed JAMES SHEPHERD as Pacific Northwest Sales
     Representative (Maximum Golf)....JOHN SIRAGUSA was named Dir
     of Business Development for the NHRA.  Siragusa was most
     recently an independent agent in commercial insurance, but
     also spent several years at Anaheim Sports (NHRA).
