EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          PA-based Global Sports named GLENN WALLS as Senior
     VP/Merchandising.  Walls joins Global Sports from Dick's
     Sporting Goods, where he was Divisional Merchandise Manager
     (Global Sports)....EDDIE OLCZYK was named as NHL analyst for
     FSN's coverage of the Penguins (FSN)....The Hockey Company
     named YAN MARTIN and FREDERIC AUBREY as Global Brand Manager
     for the KOHO and CCM brands.  Martin has been with The Hockey
     Company since January as Assistant Brand Manager, and Aubry
     was Brand Manager for Molson Canada (THE DAILY).....The 76ers
     named BRIAN KIRSCHNER as Manager of Communications. 
     Kirschner served as the Dir of Sports Media Relations for
     three years at Temple Univ. (76ers)....ESPN Magazine named
     DANNY FERRAUIOLA as Senior Publicist.  Ferrauiola was PR
     Assistant with the Jets for the past three years (THE DAILY).
