JOHN COLLINS BACK AT NFL; TAGLIABUE RESTRUCTURES STAFF

          The NFL announced the return of JOHN COLLINS to the
     league office as Senior VP/Entertainment Programming &
     Marketing, where he will oversee the NFL's advertising and
     design, market research, media planning, publishing and
     traditional programming.  Collins joined the NFL in '89 as
     Dir of Sponsorship Sales with NFL Films and was promoted to
     VP in '93.  In '96, Collins was named to the newly created
     position of NFL VP/Programming & Sales.  Collins returns to
     the NFL from a stint at Broadband Sports (THE DAILY).
          CHANGES ON PARK AVE: The SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's John
     Rofe reports that NFL Commissioner PAUL TAGLIABUE is
     continuing his "overhaul" of the league's N.Y. office by
     consolidating corporate sales efforts under a single entity.
     The new entity will be directed by VP JIM SCHWEBEL, who will
     oversee all NFL corporate sales groups, including TV,
     nfl.com and other various league entities.  Tagliabue is
     also "creating a new strategic planning and business
     development unit" within the league office under the
     direction of league Exec VP/Business Properties & Club
     Services ROGER GOODELL (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 9/18).
