          The WUSA named LAUREN GREGG as VP/Player Personnel &
     Technical Dir, SARA DELGADO as VP/Sponsorship Sales, ROB
     KALER as VP/Legal Affairs and SHAUN MAY as Dir of PR (USA
     TODAY, 9/14)....N.Y.-based PR and management company
     Fourteen-Fifty Media named JULIE MARVEL as VP.  Marvel had
     spent the past year as a consultant to various sports
     clients after serving as Dir of Communications for the
     Warriors and the LPGA (Fourteen-Fifty Media)....RICK OLESHAK
     is no longer Manager of Communications for NASCAR's Busch
     Series, as he has taken a job with A-B in St. Louis.  TOM
     MCGOVERN "is handling Oleshak's duties" on an interim basis
     (NASCAR WINSTON CUP SCENE, 9/14 issue)....DAILY VARIETY's
     Tim Robey reports that the BBC has named PETER SALMON to be
     its first Dir of Sport, where he will "head the newly
     integrated" division.  Salmon spent the past three years as
     controller of BBC1 (DAILY VARIETY, 9/14)....The Sabres
     promoted Communications Coordinator GREGG HULLER to Dir of
     Communications and named KEVIN WILES as Communications
     Coordinator and TIM DARLING as Graduate Assistant (Sabres).
