          ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) promoted VIB SHARMA to Senior
     VP/Advertising & Integrated Sales.  Sharma, who was
     VP/Advertising Sales at ESS, succeeds CHRIS MCDONALD, who
     will leave the company at the end of September (ESS)....SFX
     Properties named JAY FREEDMAN as Senior Dir of Licensing &
     Promotional Merchandising, JEFF GOLDKLANG as Manager of
     Merchandising & Premium Items and VICTORIA ODELL as
     Licensing Coordinator.  Previously, Freedman was VP at
     Trends Clothing Corp., Goldklang was merchandise purchaser
     for the Baseball Company of America, and Odell comes from
     Cohn & Wolfe (SFX Sports Group)....Broadband Sports'
     SportsWritersDirect named VITO STELLINO as National NFL
     Writer and Columnist.  Stellino, who was a columnist for the
     Baltimore Sun for the last 17 years, has been a part of the
     SportsWritersDirect's news network since '95
     (SportsWritersDirect)....KIM RESLER was named Dir of
     Marketing for the IHL Vipers and AFL Fury.  Previously,
     Resler was Advertising Coordinator for Palace Sports &
     Entertainment (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 9/12)....JASON ROOSE was
     named PR Assistant for the Hornets.  Roose comes from the PR
     department of the Magic and Miracle (THE DAILY).
