TIME WARNER'S ABRAHAM REPORTEDLY LEAVES FOR CABLEVISION POST

          Time Warner Sports President SETH ABRAHAM is "expected
     to resign, possibly as early as today, to take an executive
     position with Cablevision/MSG/Radio City Music Hall" in
     N.Y., according to USA TODAY's Rudy Martzke.  Abraham "might
     be succeeded" by HBO Exec Producer ROSS GREENBURG (USA
     TODAY, 9/11).  In N.Y., Phil Mushnick cites "highly-placed
     sources" as saying that Abraham will be named to the newly-
     created position of MSG COO, and he will be "second" in the
     MSG "hierarchy," behind President DAVE CHECKETTS.  Abraham
     is "expected to oversee all entertainment, TV and sports
     operations within The Garden, with the exception of the
     Knicks, Rangers, and Liberty" (N.Y. POST, 9/11).
