          As part of a restructuring at CNN, CNN/SI President JIM
     WALTON, who launched the sports network in '96, was named
     President of CNN Networks/USA.  Walton will be responsible
     for 15 CNN domestic news networks and Web sites (WASHINGTON
     POST, 8/31)....The Hurricanes named DOUG PIPER Exec VP/
     Business Operations.  Piper spent the last five years as
     Exec VP/Business Operations for the Oilers (Hurricanes).
     ...Baseball.TV named former Royals Senior Dir of Scouting
     TERRY WETZEL to the newly created position of VP & Int'l Dir
     of Business Development (THE DAILY)....ISC named DICK
     PINKHAM as Managing Dir of Marketing Partnerships to be
     based in N.Y.  Pinkham served as Senior VP/New Business for
     IMG since '97 (ISC)....Detroit-based sports and
     entertainment company Olympia Entertainment promoted PR
     Manager KATHLEEN KENNEDY to Dir of PR, Marketing Manager
     ALYSSA COHEN to Dir of Marketing and Graphic Designs &
     Creative Services Manager MICHELLE CHMURA to Dir of Creative
     Services.  In addition, JACQUELINE HARPER was named Dir of
     Group Sales (FREE PRESS, 8/29)....Russell Athletic Team
     Sports named RISHAL DINKINS-STANCIEL as Senior Marketing
     Manager.  Dinkins-Stanciel was National Account Manager for
     Warner-Lambert Consumer Healthcare (AD AGE, 8/28 issue).
