          MLS: MLS has promoted the following staff members:
     Senior Dir of Special Events & Promotions DIANNE MCCAFFREY
     to VP/Special Events & Fan Development and Manager of
     Creative Services RICH LEVY to Creative Dir.  Additionally,
     MLS named former CC&C Management Group's Dir of Business
     Development STEPHEN HAMILTON as Manager Fan Development;
     former Young & Rubicam Manager of Financial Reporting SEAN
     PRENDERGAST as Manager Financial Reporting; former Columbia
     Presbyterian Center for Sports Medicine  medical biller
     LAUREN PAUL as Finance & Administration Assistant; and
     former Boston College Athletic Department intern STACEY
     SACCARDO as Coordinator of Licensing (THE DAILY).
          MORE EXECS: The Knicks named JONATHAN SUPRANOWITZ as
     Media Services Manager.  For the past five years,
     Supranowitz was Hornets Assistant Dir of PR.  The Hornets
     also promoted NATALIE KNORR from PR Assistant to Assistant
     Dir of PR (THE DAILY)....The Outdoor Life Network (OLN)
     promoted Dir of Marketing WENDY MCCOY to VP/Marketing. 
     Prior to joining OLN, McCoy headed account services for
     Times Mirror Magazine's in-house ad agency for three years
     (OLN)....Nazareth Speedway named SHAWN HACKMAN as Dir of
     Marketing.  Previously, Hackman was a Senior Account Exec
     for Kellogg's Racing at GA-based Summit Marketing which
     included event marketing, hospitality and sales promotions
     (Nazareth Speedway)....Minor League Baseball named SCOTT
     POLEY as General Counsel & Secretary, replacing BEN HAYES,
     who has been General Counsel since '93.  Poley has been an
     Associate in the law firm of Denlinger, Rosenthal &
     Greenberg, in Cincinnati, since Sept. '94 (Minor League
     Baseball)....RISHAL DINKINS-STANCIEL has joined Russell
     Athletic Team Sports as Senior Marketing Manager for Women's
     Sports (Russell Athletic).
