ADIDAS FORMS ONLINE AD AGENCY TO HELP INCREASE GROWTH

          adidas launched its "e-rena back to school promotion"
     from online ad agency L90, according to a report in AD AGE. 
     The ad is "aiming to drive consumers" to thestore.adidas.com
     as part of "an integrated campaign to increase the company's
     sales and customer acquisitions."  AD AGE also notes that
     the two-month promotion will be featured on sites such as
     Alloy.com, FamilyWonder.com, iParenting, Sega.com,
     SportsHuddle.com and StarWars.com.  Additionally, when a
     consumer clicks on the promotion, the Adidas e-rena "micro-
     site" will also launch, allowing visitors "to interact with
     Adidas products and content within the host Web site."  The
     micro-site will launch automatically when a visitor "enters
     certain targeted areas within the Web sites" (AD AGE, 8/14).
