THE NATIONAL SPORTS FORUM IS HEADING TO CLEVELAND

          The National Sports Forum will be heading to Cleveland,
     OH, for its 6th Annual Sports Marketing and Sales Conference
     held January 22-24, 2001 at the Renaissance Hotel.  The NSF
     is the largest cross-team sports marketing conference and
     trade show dedicated to team sponsorship, ticket sales,
     marketing, the Internet, fan entertainment and sales.  The
     attendee registration fee is $695 and registration fees for
     the trade show start at $1,645.  Register and pay in full by
     July 31, 2000 and you'll receive a free copy of Franklin
     Covey's Sports Market Place Directory along with a free 2001
     NSF Golf Shirt (a $250 value).  Further information on the

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown. SBJ’s Tom Friend also joins the show to share his insights into NBA viewership trends.
