SABRES ANNOUNCE TICKET INCREASE RANGING FROM 4-18%

The Sabres will increase ticket prices next season, according to Norm Warner of the BUFFALO NEWS, who reported that prices will increase "in all seating levels with season tickets up from" 5-18% and individual game seats rising from 4-18%. The price for season tickets "range from $16 to $75 per game and tickets at the window go from $21 to $100." The "most expensive seats for season-ticket holders" in the Club Level will increase ten percent, while the same level seats for an individual game are up nine percent. The team claims its "season ticket prices are in the bottom third" of the NHL. Sabres Exec VP/Administration Ron Bertovich: "We feel that we have offered a very competitive price structure for our fans. Despite the ticket increases, we feel we've been able to keep our prices in line when compared to ... other National Hockey League teams" (BUFFALO NEWS, 7/21).
