          For broadcast numbers, one ratings point = 1,008,000
     homes.  For cable, "COV AREA" = % of homes tuned in to that
     program in that network's universe of subscribers.
          WNBA: NBC's season-to-date rating for six WNBA
     telecasts is 1.6/5, even with '99's five games through the
     same weekend.  NBC's rating for its fifth weekend was up
     from '99's 0.3/1 (NBC).
          MLB: Fox's season-to-date rating through eight
     telecasts is 3.0/10, up 3% from last year's 2.9/9 through
     the same amount of broadcasts.  Fox's rating for its eighth
     weekend was even with last year (Fox).
          LPGA TOUR: NBC's coverage of the Japan Airlines Big
     Apple Classic was rained out on Saturday.  In its place, the
     net aired second-round action.  The third and final round
     was held Sunday (NBC).
