     BABBY, whose firm, Williams & Connolly, doesn't "do things
     like other sports agents.  To begin with, they charge an
     hourly rate, as opposed to the standard 4% most agents
     charge."  Babby: "We're providing the same services agents
     provide, they're just getting it at a more reasonable price. 
     We do everything agents do" (USA TODAY, 6/30)....LANCE
     ARMSTRONG appeared on this morning's "GMA" to promote his new
     book "IT'S NOT ABOUT THE BIKE."  Armstrong, wearing a USPS T-
     shirt, said the book "is a lot more about my illness" than
     his Tour de France victory last year ("GMA," ABC,
     6/30)....After a yearlong investigation, Univ. of AZ
     officials said that former G JASON TERRY accepted "about
     $4,500" from N.Y. agent LARRY FOX and another $7,000 and
     legal services from S.F. agent NIDDI OPIA after his junior
     season in '97-98.  As a result, the university will return to
     the NCAA a 45% share of '99 TV revenues ($45,363), which
     Terry has "agreed to pay" (ARIZONA DAILY STAR, 6/30)....MLB
     HOFer HANK AARON will throw out the ceremonial first pitch
     prior to the 71st MLB All-Star Game next week in Atlanta
     (MLB)....Jay Leno, on the Clippers selecting high school
     player DARIUS MILES with the No. 3 pick in Wednesday's NBA
     Draft: "Let that be a lesson to all young people out there. 
     You see, if you don't finish your education, you could end up
     in a dead end job like playing for the Clippers. ... Stay in
     school" (NBC, 6/29).
