REPORT HAS LORIA BUYOUT OF EXPOS' INVESTORS ALL BUT DONE

          A member of the Expos' limited partnership said a news
     conference will be held this week at which it will be
     announced that the team's limited partners are "selling
     their shares" to Majority Owner Jeffrey Loria, according to
     Jeff Blair of the Toronto GLOBE & MAIL.  The partner said,
     "It's not completely finished, but it's close."  Although no
     dollar figure was put on the total buyout, Blair wrote that
     "any decision to buy out his limited partners would be a
     serious indication of the depth of Loria's financial
     resources."  With the team's uncertain fate, Loria "has
     taken to sitting with security guards during" home games. 
     Last Tuesday night, Loria was seen "pointing and yelling at
     a fan as [he] left his seats" (Toronto GLOBE & MAIL, 6/24).
