EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The Cleveland-based law firm of Benesch, Friedlander,
     Coplan & Aronoff LLP has opened BFCA Sports Management to
     represent athletes and coaches in all areas of pro sports. 
     JOSEPH GROSS, an NFLPA certified contract advisor, and GREGG
     EISENBERG, an attorney in the corporate and securities
     practices group, were named to the new division (Cleveland
     PLAIN DEALER, 6/21)....The WUSA announced that Time Warner
     Cable has appointed VP/Time Warner Cable JEROME RAMSEY to
     the position of President for the WUSA teams in the N.Y. and
     Orlando markets.  Ramsey will manage the business affairs of
     both teams, overseeing front office staffing and team
     development venue selection, broadcast contract
     negotiations, marketing and promotions (WUSA)....The IBF
     named interim President HIAWATHA KNIGHT as President. 
     Knight is a former MI boxing commissioner and IBF VP (Mult.,
     6/21)....The Warriors named KEVIN TERRY as Exec Dir of
     Ticket Sales & Services and VICTOR PELT as Dir of Corporate
     Sales.  Terry served most recently as Dir of Sales &
     Marketing for Kansas City Sports Enterprises.  Pelt joins
     the Warriors after serving as Corporate Sales Manager for
     the Trail Blazers (Warriors)....Golf company Tehama named
     BOB SHELL as President.  Before joining Tehama in '99, Shell
     spent ten years with Golden Bear Int'l where he oversaw
     worldwide licensing of Jack Nicklaus and Golden Bear brands
     as well as Nicklaus' personal endorsements (GOLF WORLD
     BUSINESS, 6/19)....Former Trail Blazers broadcaster BILL
     SCHONELY will handle radio play-by-play for the PCL team
     moving to Portland from Albuquerque, NM (OREGONIAN, 6/21).
