TWO TITLES CONNECT THE DOTS BETWEEN WEALTH AND SPORTS

          In its current issue, the SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL
     presents its '99 "Highest-Paid Executives of Sports Public
     Companies," and reports that Comcast Chair Ralph Roberts
     tops the list of the 40 highest-paid execs at sports public
     companies with a total compensation of $12.9M in '99.  Time
     Warner CEO Gerald Levin was listed second with '99 total
     compensation of $10.8M (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 6/19 issue). 
     Meanwhile, FORBES releases its annual list of the 200
     richest "working" billionaires in the world, who have a
     combined net worth of more than $1.1 trillion, up $100B from
     last year.  The following are the billionaires with sports
     interests, as ranked by their net worth (FORBES, 7/3 issue):
