          NASCAR has renewed deals with official sponsors Circuit
     City, Glaval, Goody's and Kodak.  Circuit City has been with
     NASCAR since '96, Glaval since '97, Goody's since '77 and
     Kodak since '87 (NASCAR)....In S.F., Peter Sinton reports
     that about 60 companies, including AT&T, Bank of America,
     Coca-Cola, Microsoft and Visa, have leased hospitality
     chalets around this weekend's U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, CA. 
     A 40-by-40-foot chalet packaged with parking spots and 125
     tickets costs up to $150,000 for the week (S.F. CHRONICLE,
     6/15)....In Minneapolis, La Velle Neal reports that
     "several" of the bobblehead dolls of former Twins great
     Harmon Killebrew that were given out last Friday as part of
     a promotion are now being auctioned off on eBay.  The
     bidding has risen to more than $100, with one doll
     attracting a top bid of $147.50 (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE,
     6/15)....CNNfn's Lauren Thierry interviewed Ed Hoyt, co-
     Founder of the nutritional supplement company Infinity2, and
     discussed the company's partnerships with several pro sports
     teams.  Hoyt: "A number of the professional teams that we
     work with [use] our energy bar product, but more so with our
     basic nutritional products.  We are the largest supplier to
     professional teams, ... [including the Yankees, Cavaliers,
     Heat, Rockets, Comets, D'Backs and MLB Giants]. ... We have
     a number of teams that use our product ... without any paid
     endorsement fees, which is extremely unique for this
     industry" ("Business Unusual," CNNfn, 6/14).
