DEALS & DOLLARS: NETMARKET INKS GORGE GAMES PARTNERSHIP

          CT-based Netmarket Group, a provider of consumer
     products and services on the Internet, has signed a two-year
     partnership with the Subaru Gorge Games for its
     Netmarket.com online superstore.  Netmarket Group will
     leverage via print and broadcast media, on-site branding,
     promotional activities and PR support.  The weeklong sports
     festival in OR takes place July 8-15, 2000, with $100,000 in
     prize money.  Netmarket Group joins Subaru, Nautica,
     American Airlines, Irish Spring, John Paul Mitchell Systems,
     Monster.com, Yahoo! Sports and ZuluSports.com in sponsoring
     the Games.  National Geographic Adventure, NBC Sports and SI
     are media partners for the event (Subaru Gorge Games).
          MORE DEALS: MLS has signed a multiyear partnership with
     Seasonticket.com, making it an MLS corporate partner and a
     strategic partner on MLSnet.com (MLS)....Arthritis medicine
     Celebrex has named golfer Tom Kite as a spokesperson (GOLF
     MAGAZINE, 6/14)....GM China and Shanghai GM inked a four-
     year deal to become exclusive auto sponsors of the Chinese
     Olympic Committee (BRANDWEEK, 6/12 issue).
