EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          ANGELA BLAKENEY was promoted to Chief of Staff for the
     Rockets, Comets and ThunderBears, assisting COO GEORGE
     POSTOLOS in the day-to-day operations and coordinating
     special projects (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 5/21)....EM.TV, which
     holds a 50% stake in Formula One racing, named THOMAS
     BORCHOLTE to the lead EM-Sport Sportmarketing.  Borcholte
     "is in charge" of marketing Germany's Expo 2000 and will
     begin his new position in June (DAILY VARIETY, 5/23). 
     ..BRANDWEEK's Terry Lefton reports that NHL Group
     VP/Broadcasting GLENN ADAMO is joining Phoenix-based Axient
     Communications, a broadband distribution network.  Lefton
     also reports that sneaker analyst FAYE LANDES is leaving
     Thomas Weasel Partners to join Sanford Bernstein, N.Y.
     (BRANDWEEK, 5/22 issue)....CAMERON BLANCHARD was named Dir
     of Communications at NBC Sports.  Blanchard was Dir of Media
     Relations for MSNBC (NBC Sports)....Nike Golf named STAN
     GRISSINGER as Category Business Dir of golf balls (GOLF
     WORLD BUSINESS, 5/22)....MA-based Trakus named
     SportsLine.com President of Corporate & Business Development
     ANDREW STURNER and Univision Sports President STEPHEN
     SOLOMON to its BOD (Trakus)....JENNIFER ROCCIA MOREAU was
     promoted to Communications Manager of the Worldwide Senior
     Tennis Circuit.  Roccia Moreau will have increased
     responsibilities until a successor is found for former Dir
     of Communications STEVE GRIFFITH (see THE DAILY, 5/22), who
     has joined the XFL (Worldwide Senior Tennis Circuit)....NFL
     Insider magazine named BRENDEN DELANEY and SHERI GROSSMAN as
     National Ad Sales Managers.  Delaney spent six years at
     Reader's Digest, while Grossman was Senior Account Manager
     for Sportswear Int'l magazine (NFL Insider).
