THE WARRIORS DID IT! THE WARRIORS DID IT! CUT TIX PRICES

The Warriors announced yesterday that they will reduce
"selected season ticket prices" for the 2000-01 season,
which, according to the team, will "make them the least
expensive lower-level tickets in the NBA," according to the
CONTRA COSTA TIMES. Approximately 2,600 end zone seats will
be priced at $24 per game for season tickets, down $7.50
from last season. The Warriors said that "comparable seats
in this location ranged [for other teams] from a low of $29
to a high of $90 last season." The team said that more than
50% of its season tickets will be priced at less than $29
per game, and that the Warriors "are one of only four teams
whose average overall ticket price has remained the same or
decreased" since the '97-98 season (C.C. TIMES, 5/18).
