FOX SPORTS NET LOOKS TO TAP INTO FAN EMOTION IN NEW SPOTS

Fox Sports Net broke a new ad campaign last month via
FCB Worldwide, S.F., that features a print component, as
well as six 30-second TV spots that are featured on FSN's
various RSNs, according to Justin Norton of ADWEEK. The
campaign will continue through the spring. In the spots,
which use the tag, "We know the feeling," the "events of a
game push sports fans to the brink in their own homes and in
public places." One spot titled "Spaghetti" shows a fan
becoming "more and more animated" as he watches a game on TV
while eating a bowl of pasta until the "food starts flying
all over the room." In "Make Out," a young man is seen
"abandoning a kissing session with his girlfriend to sneak
peeks at a sporting event." FSN Exec VP/Marketing Neal
Tiles: "We're focusing on the televised fan experience --
whether they're at home, inside a bar or even outside on the
street looking in. We know regardless of where a fan may
be, their connection with their local team is an emotional
     one" (ADWEEK, 5/8 issue).
