WUSA HIRES SPENCER STUART TO LOCATE COMMISSIONER & CEO

          The WUSA has retained exec search firm Spencer Stuart
     to aid in the search for a CEO & Commissioner for the
     league.  In the meantime, WUSA Chair John Hendricks named
     former U.S. women's soccer team coach TONY DICICCO and WUSA
     Senior Advisor LEE BERKE to the positions of Acting
     Commissioner and Acting President, respectively (WUSA).
          TEAM MOVES: The WUSA formally named KATY BUTTON as Dir
     of Soccer Operations for the DC franchise.  Button was
     previously a Policy Advisor to First Lady HILLARY CLINTON. 
     Also, MA Pro Soccer/Boston Renegades GM JOE CUMMINGS was
     named GM for the Boston franchise, while Cox Enterprises Dir
     of Sales Development LYNN NICKLAUS MORGAN was named GM for
     the Atlanta and San Diego teams (WUSA).
