          NHL Commissioner GARY BETTMAN, MLB Commissioner BUD
     SELIG, NBA Commissioner DAVID STERN and NFL Commissioner
     PAUL TAGLIABUE will participate in the Museum of TV &
     Radio's (MTVR) April 24 seminar titled "Sports on Television
     & Radio: The Commissioners' Perspective."  The event will be
     held at the N.Y. Museum (MTVR)....Jockey CHRIS ANTLEY
     married ABC Sports Field Producer NATALIE JOWETT in Las
     Vegas last Wednesday.  Friends said the two met last year
     during Antley's run for the Triple Crown with Charismatic
     (DAILY RACING FORM, 4/15)....In OH, Jeff Schudel reports
     that Browns OL ORLANDO BROWN is retaining attorney JOHNNIE
     COCHRAN to represent him  in a suit he plans to file against
     the NFL.  Brown's career is "in jeopardy because of the eye
     injury he suffered" last December when he was hit by a
     penalty flag thrown by an NFL official (Willoughby (OH)
     NEWS-HERALD, 4/18)...."ET"'s Mary Hart noted that "SNL"'s
     WILL FERRELL did a parody of ELTON JOHN's "Candle In The
     Wind" by singing, "Goodbye DAN MARINO, you were the greatest
     passing quarterback."  This and other parodies will be part
     of VH1's "Men Strike Back Concert" Tuesday night ("ET,"
     4/17)....MAGIC JOHNSON has teamed with CA-based BLACKBOARD
     ENTERTAINMENT to launch the children's entertainment
     "imprint" MAGIC MEDIA.  The first project is a series of
     educational comic books for children (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER,
     4/18)....NBC's Jay Leno, on Friday's stock market plummet:
     "Friday, biggest loss ever.  Dow closed down 617 points. 
     Down 617! Man, that's like halftime at a CLIPPERS game." 
     Leno, on the thousands of people protesting over the fate of
     Elian Gonzalez in Miami: "There were so many people in front
     of Elian Gonzalez' house yesterday, some of the FLORIDA
     MARLINS players went over there, because they've never seen
     a crowd" ("Tonight Show," NBC, 4/17).
