DEALS & DOLLARS: NORELCO ON WITH GRAVITY; MIA'S NEW GAME

          Norelco has signed an exclusive one-year deal to become
     the Official Shaving Products Sponsor of NBC Sports' and
     emap usa's Summer Gravity 2000.  The event will be held July
     15-23 in Providence, RI, and will air on NBC in October and
     November.  Norelco joins current Gravity Games sponsors
     Bolt.com, Irish Spring, Kick Media, Mongoose, Mountain Dew,
     Speed Stick, Toyota and UnionBay (Gravity
     Games)....BRANDWEEK's Terry Lefton reports that NC-based VF
     Corp. signed a two-year deal for "exclusive rights to
     market" T-shirts under the Lee Sport brand to be worn by
     this year's NHL Stanley Cup champions.  VF "replaces" Fruit
     of the Loom's "defunct" Pro Player brand as locker room T-
     shirt provider (BRANDWEEK, 4/10 issue).
          NAMES: NC-based SouthPeak Interactive has signed Mia
     Hamm to an exclusive endorsement deal for Mia Hamm Soccer
     64, a women's soccer video game for the Nintendo 64 system. 
     Hamm will appear on game packaging, merchandising materials
     and in a national print and TV ad campaign.  The game will
     hit stores this fall (SouthPeak).  In Raleigh, Carlene
     Hempel noted that the video game is "targeted toward girls
     ages 8 through 17" and is the company's "first sports game"
     (Raleigh NEWS & OBSERVER, 4/11).  For more on Hamm, see
     (#31)....Packers QB Brett Favre is featured in Pennzoil's
     new $20M TV, print and Internet campaign for the company's
     PureBase Clean Engine Formula.  The campaign, via GSD&M, TX,
     broke last week (BRANDWEEK, 4/10 issue).
