CLIP 'N SAVE: NL TEAM BROADCAST, CABLE AND RADIO RIGHTS

          BROADCASTING & CABLE offers details of MLB team rights,
     and the following lists broadcast, cable and radio deals for
     NL teams in 2000, as well as the number of games, deal terms
     (status/length of deal) and an estimated 2000 rights fee. 
     YR/YRS is a breakdown of the contract status: Year currently
     in/Length of total contract.  See tomorrow's issue of THE
     DAILY for the AL from BROADCASTING & CABLE's 3/27 issue:

          ^ TEAM NOTES: ATL: revenue reflects simultaneous
     national carriage of games on TBS.  Team, WTBS-TV and Turner
     South are owned by Time Warner.  Estimated 2000 revenue for
     TV is $32.5M, estimated 2000 revenue for Turner South is
     $12.5M; FLA: WAMI-TV pays FSN $3.2M for 55 games; MON: Expos
     currently do not have a broadcast, cable or radio deal; NYM:
     FSN sublicenses 50 games to WPIX-TV; PHI: team and WPSG-TV
     have revenue-sharing partnership for broadcast TV, radio and
     cable.  Phillies partnered with Comcast to form Comcast
     SportsNet.  Estimated 2000 revenue for TV is $7M, for cable
     is $3.5M and radio is $2.4M; CHI: Tribune owns team and WGN-
     AM and WGN-TV.  WGN-TV buys airtime on WCIU-TV.  Revenue
     reflects simultaneous national carriage of superstation WGN. 
     Estimated 2000 revenue for TV is $31M, while radio is $9M;
     CIN: FSN has both broadcast and cable TV rights; HOU: Team
     retains radio rights.  Estimated 2000 revenue from radio
     rights is $4.5M; MIL: Brewers buy airtime on WCGV-TV.  Team
     shares some revenue with MSC and WTMJ-AM; PIT: FSN
     sublicenses 15 games to TV stations. Team retains radio
     rights.  Estimated 2000 revenue for radio is $3.5M; STL:
     Cardinals buy airtime on KPLR-TV;  COL: FSN buys airtime on
     KWGN-TV; L.A.: KTLA-TV sublicenses 40 games to Fox, which
     owns Dodgers; SDP: Cox Communications, which owns Channel 4,
     has a programming and promotional partnership with KUSI-TV. 
     Cox keeps all ad revenue; SFG: team retains five to seven
     30-second spots per game on KTVU-TV.  KTVU parent Cox
     Broadcasting and KNBR-AM are both limited partners in team;
     ARZ: team retains broadcast TV and radio rights.  Estimated
     2000 revenue for TV rights is $10.5M, while radio is $4.2M. 
     Team and KTVK-TV have revenue-sharing agreement.
