COCA-COLA, ABC/ESPN ENTER TWO-YEAR, $20M-PLUS MARKETING DEAL

          Coca-Cola has "formed a marketing partnership" with
     ESPN ABC Sports Customer Marketing & Sales, the sports media
     and marketing arm of Walt Disney, according to the WALL
     STREET JOURNAL.  The deal, which runs through 2001 and is
     "valued at more than" $20M, includes an "advertising
     commitment and co-branded marketing and promotional
     programs" for Coca-Cola's Powerade sports drink, as well as
     other brands.  Ads will appear on ESPN, ESPN2, ABC Sports
     and ESPN.com.  The effort is "aimed particularly at
     boosting" sales of Powerade (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 3/27).
