YOUNG GUNS WOODS, GARCIA TO DUEL IT OUT IN PRIMETIME EVENT

          Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia will compete against each
     other on August 28 at Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert, CA,
     on ABC, in a follow-up to last summer's "Showdown at
     Sherwood" between Woods and David Duval, according to GOLF
     WORLD BUSINESS.  Woods received $1.1M for winning last
     year's match, while Duval received $400,000.  This year's
     purse is expected to be "higher" (GOLF WORLD BUSINESS,
     3/21).  The match will be called the "Battle of Bighorn" and
     will be televised in primetime on the last Monday before ABC
     kicks off its "MNF" schedule (GOLFWEEK, 3/20 issue).  Last
     year's event, also in primetime, drew a 6.9/12 final rating.
